Most of my time goes into backend systems: API design, DDD, hexagonal architecture. What I really care about is whether the team can keep the project moving on the day I am no longer around.
I like to understand the problem before opening the editor. Asking the awkward questions, weighing what is feasible against what is actually useful, and turning down features that do not earn their cost.
When a tool is missing, or a SaaS costs more than what it does for me, I usually end up rebuilding it. That has produced mobile apps, web platforms, a few browser extensions and a fairly busy home server.
For 7 years I have been mentoring web development students one-on-one at OpenClassrooms. Before that I taught in classrooms at WebForce3 and Human Booster, from first-year students to master's level.
PHP and Symfony day to day, Laravel when a project calls for it. I design APIs, untangle legacy code and introduce DDD when the domain genuinely justifies the overhead.

A Flutter app with a large text catalogue to keep in sync, fully offline reading, scheduled notifications and a personal journal. CODEX Cards sits on top of it: a collectible card game whose draws and inventory are handled on Firebase.
An online book club platform: reading sessions split by chapter, discussion threads and progress shared between members. The data model took considerably more thought than the rest of it.
Around 40 Docker containers on a machine at home: a local LLM, a monitoring stack, media server, document management, DNS ad-blocking, personal finance. Most of the SaaS I used to pay for now run on my own hardware.
A Chrome extension that tracks AI subscription usage. It works out your burn rate, estimates when the quota will run out and warns you before it hits zero. Written because I needed it every week.
